I’m Ali, a UI/UX Designer based in San Jose in the San Francisco Bay Area. I focus on creating accessible, intuitive, and meaningful digital experiences. I combine research, thoughtful interaction design, and a systems‑driven mindset to bring clarity to complex problems and help people accomplish tasks with ease.
My background spans over 15 years across visual design, web design, and art direction, with the past several years focused on UI/UX and product design. Supported by front‑end development skills, this multidisciplinary foundation helps me create solutions that are both thoughtful and practical, balancing usability, visual craft, and technical feasibility. I’ve worked with a wide range of teams, from small local businesses to global organizations such as Meta, LG Electronics, P&G, and MTN.
I’m especially energized by designing user‑facing products that require structure, scalability, and a deep understanding of user needs — whether that’s refining complex workflows, building design systems, or shaping end‑to‑end product experiences. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and completed General Assembly’s User Experience Design immersive program, both of which continue to influence my approach to design and problem‑solving.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me traveling, watching movies, drawing, cooking, and taking care of my houseplants.
